The Peacock Hotel located in High Street Northcote is looking for qualified chefs to join our team!
Experience in fast-paced environments & competent in all sections.
Great working environment to work in and above award wages for the right applicant!
Responsibilities:

Lead daily operations of the kitchen
Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative menus
Stock control, inventory, and budget management
Overseeing quality control, ensuring patrons receive dishes of a high quality and in a timely manner.
Implementing all hotel health regulations, policies and procedures
Training staff on menu execution and techniques
Management of kitchen staff, including disciplinary action (if required) with management support.

Required Experience/Qualification:

At least 3 years' commercial Chef experience
Relevant trade qualifications, including Certificate III or higher in commercial cookery
Sound knowledge of traditional and current food trends
Previous experience in menu development and costing
Attention to detail, including adhering to food health and safety regulation.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,559.68 per year
