You will work in various sectors including oil & gas, defence, water treatment, mining, power generation, renewables, and hydrogen.As the newest member of the Control Systems & Automation team, you will be exposed to the entire project life cycle, from design through to project execution.What's involved?Design and specify automation systems, adhering to ISA95 compliant architectures, including industrial networks, SCADA, instrumentation, and control equipment.Create functional description documentation for Automation/SCADA systems.Implement industrial networking solutions with awareness of modern network maturity models.Program automation platforms such as Rockwell, Schneider, and Siemens PLCs.Develop HMI programming and industrial network configurations, including sensor networks and field bus systems.Program RTUs, configure communication systems like Narrowband/wideband radio and LTE.Develop SCADA programming using software such as iFix, Citect, Ignition, and ClearSCADA, and configure IoT networks and devices.
What you'll need!Engineering qualification is essential, along with 5+ years of experience in a Control Systems positionProficiency in automation and SCADA system design, development, and troubleshooting.Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens) and SCADA software.Familiarity with industrial networking solutions and communication systems.Ability to develop and interpret electrical, instrumentation, and control schedules.Experience conducting FAT, SAT, and commissioning for automation/SCADA systems.Critical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and report writing skills are crucialInterested, but concerned you don't tick enough of the boxes?
