Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Salesperson to join our highly dedicated team in our Perth Branch based in Willetton.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in the hydraulic, electrical, industrial or oil and gas wholesale industry.
Responsibilities Reporting to the Branch Manager, the objective of this position is to support the local external sales team and customers throughout Western Australia and national branches.
The key responsibilities include: Responding to customer enquiries Preparing and following up on quotations and processing orders Driving sales and generating new business leads through proactive outbound calling Developing business relationships and providing an exceptional level of customer service Providing technical advice and support to customers over the phone Effectively planning and managing time to ensure maximum results are achieved Successfully meeting sales targets and KPIs Additional Duties Initiate, establish, and build strong customer relationships, retention, and loyalty Serve a variety of markets by suggesting and delivering suitable technical product solutions Actively participate in developing new accounts, generating sales quotes, and handling customer inquiries Work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish organisational goals Be the first point of contact for the branch, including serving walk-in customers Liaise with customers via phone and email to assist in answering queries regarding products, pricing, orders, stock, delivery, and account queries Support external sales staff in developing and converting business/sales opportunities Support warehouse receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods Requirements The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 2 years sales experience Strong client liaison and relationship building skills Well-developed communication and negotiation skills A positive can-do attitude, willingness to learn and dedication An excellent phone manner and computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry Fluent English-speaking skills Ability to multi-task, prioritise with attention to detail Hydraulics, electrical or mechanical experience; however, training will be provided Benefits You will be rewarded with a negotiable salary package dependent on experience, and career development opportunities over time.
