The Role We are seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to play a pivotal role in managing our service and materials contracts to support our mining operations within the Cobar Region.

You will report to the Supply and Contract Superintendent and provide support to the business when they are off shift.
Key Responsibilities Develop and manage service and materials contracts to achieve company objectives.Provide legal and contractual support, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and operational goals.Collaborate with legal, procurement, and operational managers to optimise contract outcomes.Prepare and manage contract documentation, including scope of works and technical specifications.Conduct commercial and legal negotiations with contractors.Evaluate contractor performance and manage business relationships with key stakeholders.About You Wealth of experience in contracts/supply administration at a senior level.Tertiary degree in a business discipline.In-depth knowledge of contract laws and regulations.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.Familiarity with procurement processes and project management methodologies.Previous experience in the mining industry is highly desirable.Why work for us?
