Glencore employs over 145,000 people and operates around 150 mining and processing sites, oil production assets, and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThe successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team responsible for all aspects of tendering, analysis, negotiation, and contract management within our Supply & Logistics team.You will be responsible for:Identifying and creating opportunities for cost reduction and value adding in all agreements for the provision of goods and servicesEnsuring cost effective, professional and ethical standards are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures when conducting business with contractors and suppliersMaintaining a consistent flow of goods to our operation in line with time and cost requirements to meet our production objectivesLiaising with internal and external customers to ensure the required and agreed level of services are maintained at all timesEnsuring compliance with company contract and procurement guidelinesMentoring and coaching members of our Procurement & Inventory team, including providing support and coverage for the Contracts Superintendent.About YouThis role would suit a motivated contracts specialist who is results driven and customer service focused.
