The Role The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team responsible for all aspects of tendering, analysis, negotiation, and contract management within our Supply & Logistics team.
You will be responsible for:
Identifying and creating opportunities for cost reduction and value adding in all agreements for the provision of goods and servicesEnsuring cost effective, professional and ethical standards are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures when conducting business with contractors and suppliersMaintaining a consistent flow of goods to our operation in line with time and cost requirements to meet our production objectivesLiaising with internal and external customers to ensure the required and agreed level of services are maintained at all timesEnsuring compliance with company contract and procurement guidelinesMentoring and coaching members of our Procurement & Inventory team, including providing support and coverage for the Contracts Superintendent. About You This role would suit a motivated contracts specialist who is results driven and customer service focused.
You will also have:
Previous experience in procurement and contract administration & management, ideally within the resources industrySound knowledge of negotiating and administering Service Agreements and Blanket Purchasing AgreementsA strong understanding of commercial Terms & Conditions and common lawKnowledge of mechanical and pressure flow equipment and associated parts (desirable)Proven experience in Inventory ManagementGood computer skills with the ability to use integrated management and supply systems (Oracle) and Microsoft applications What We Offer We offer a diverse range of opportunities across our multi-pit mining operations through to our complex and technically challenging hydrometallurgical process plant.
