At the core of our business, we manage the essential services of vehicle registration and licensing and our goal is to simplify interactions with VicRoads RLS, making our services more accessible and user-friendly.About the Opportunity:The Concession Deed Management team is responsible for management of the 40-year Concession Deeds which govern the joint venture partnership between VicRoads and the Government. Under the guidance and direction of the Principal Concession Deed Contract Manager, this role will fulfil tasks related to contract management and stakeholder relations with the Department of Transport and Planning.Provide specialist advice and support to business areas on Concession Deed provisions under limited direction, to assist understanding of their rights and obligations and to facilitate their business objectivesDevelop a range of resources on the Concession Deed to educate the business and enable self-help, including summaries of processes and obligations, checklists, FAQs, templates and other materialsNegotiate with and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes for issues and disputes arising in relation to the Concession DeedContribute to continuous improvement initiatives for more efficient and effective ways of operating within the Concession Deed authorising environmentAbout you:Excellent skills in interpreting and advising on commercial contract terms and conditionsStrong judgement and problem-solving skills for managing complex issuesStrong verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate contractual issues and risksFlexibility and adaptability to operate in an organisation focused on adopting innovations and improving ways of workingStrong attention to detail and efficient organisation skillsNice to Have:Experience with negotiation or post-signing management of complex, high-value commercial contractsExperience with government concession arrangements, public private partnerships, or other joint venture partnershipsCulture:To attract, retain and develop talented people, we provide genuine flexibility, a culture that supports people to be their best and on top of that - great opportunities for career development.
