Our client is a privately owned opportunistic builder/developer with a proven track record in residential projects. They have a substantial development pipeline which includes residential projects in NSW.
About the role: Residential Projects. Senior CA will be managing multiple projects within this precinct. This is an office-based role, the office is in St Peters. Draft scopes of works and tender packages to accompany requests for quotations issued to subcontractors for projects. Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct initial investigations with subcontractors to clarify the organisation's conditions relating to contracts for prospective projects. Manage and drive the review process to ensure the award of all subcontractors within the required time frame and budget. Maintain a register of subcontractors Operate and maintain commercial and contract systems including Project Costs Reporting (PCR), Asset Registers, Commercial Pack database, and Contract Sum. Ensure cost forecasting for allocated subcontracts and cost codes are accurately maintained and keep project management teams abreast of any cost issues immediately upon identification. Participate in identification and quantification of Head Contracts Process and recommend progress claims for work completed and refer disputed claims by subcontractors to the relevant manager for decision. Interpret specifications and drawings to understand the scope of works for the project at the Head Contract and Subcontract scope level. Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position it is essential that you have current experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator in Residential Construction.
Other key requirements include: Experience using a project management software program. Tertiary Qualifications in Property, Construction, or Equivalent Proven Full Lifecycle Project Experience. Track Record in Managing Subcontractors & Contract Tenders Excellent Communication, Negotiation, & Computer Skills Benefits The average staff tenure is 10+ years.
