Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Administrator with qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management or Law and looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic civil construction team?
We are a leading civil construction company seeking a highly motivated Senior Contracts Administrator based in Rockhampton to join our team.
The Role:The Senior Contracts Administrator will partner with the project management team and will be responsible for the contract administration, finance management, cost control and tender support within the CCH Business Unit (Civil), relating to major projects within Queensland.
Responsibilities will include:Administration of head contract ensuring all obligations are fulfilled including issuing of notices and preparation of claims.Drafting subcontracts, which may include preparing documents for tenders, negotiation of legal agreements with customers or suppliers and undertaking research on topics relevant to the industry.Communicating changes in the business's legal obligations to individuals at a project level.Monitor contract performance, variations, and compliance for major projects.Assist site engineers in the procurement of downstream packages.Assist project managers and senior management with cost forecasting and monthly costs reporting.Maintain commercial registers relating to contractual correspondence.Adhering to internal business procedures and WHSE requirements.Stakeholder engagement with the client and downstream supply chain.Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement through collaboration across the management team.About you:Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Law or equivalent.3-5 years experience on Major Projects working as a Contract Administrator.Demonstrated ability to understand & amend draft contracts as per requirements of the business.Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.Why work for us:On offer is a competitive salary package with opportunity for career advancement.We have an exciting Employee Benefits platform offering exclusive discounts on retail and healthcare as well as discounted gym memberships and novated leasing options.Access to Commonwealth Bank Workplace banking benefits.We engage and reward our employees with a monthly values awards program and recognition in our newsletter.At MAAS Group our employees are our best asset and we pride ourselves on looking after you.
