Headquartered in Brisbane, we are a dynamic business with projects across Australia and New Zealand.Position Overview:As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you are responsible for providing clear guidance and expert advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding all levels of contract administration. With a focus on efficient project execution, this role requires effective collaboration with a number of cross-functional teams to ensure all contractual deliverables are achieved on schedule, supporting the successful delivery of project objectives.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including procurement, vendor, subcontractor, and professional services agreements.Conduct legal research, analysis, and provide support on various legal matters as needed.Maintain contract registers, variation registers, contract compliance, submissions, insurances, bank guarantees, and insurance bonds.Assist the tendering team with negotiations, modifications, proofreading, and assembling of response information.Variation investigations and processing.Drafting notices and extensions of claims ensuring all deadlines are met.Consulting with Project management on submissions of monthly payments, claims, reviewing invoices, and regular updates of the AEC risk matrix.Ensure contracts align with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.Respond to breaches of contracts in a timely manner.Maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships and minimize risk.Assist in resolving contractual disputes and discrepancies.Required Skills & Experience:3+ Years of relevant Contracts Administration experience in a similar context; electrical and instrumental experience will be highly regarded.Tertiary qualifications in law/commerce/finance/engineering or equivalent.A working knowledge of construction contract law, including relevant Acts, regulations, and industry standards.An ability to engage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers.Excellent time management and prioritisation skills for a diverse and challenging workload.High level written skills with excellent attention to detail.We are an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone is valued.
