Job Description - Senior Contracts Administrator - EOI (261705)About the roleThis role will report to the Commercial Manager and is responsible for managing and controlling all procurement and contract administration services for all contracts and consultancies.Develop the contract strategy, assessment, and resolution of critical and project-wide issues throughout the project life cycle.Manage and control all procurement and contract administration services for all contracts and consultancies.Maintain regular contact with resource users and contractors to ensure all contractual issues are addressed in an effective/efficient manner.Review changes and claims for the project and analyse and resolve claims in terms of size and quantum and settle disputes.Conduct tender reviews, contract acceptances, contract reviews.Provide feedback to senior management on critical contractual issues and advise way forward.Undertake adhoc tasks as requested by the Commercial Manager.About YouCompleted a Tertiary education in Engineering or Quantity Surveying or equivalent.At least 10 years' relevant working experience in major infrastructure projects with in-depth knowledge and experience in contract administration and claims management.Must have an Australian Drivers Licence.Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.Why Unite with the Very BestA competitive salary working in a rewarding, supportive and successful team.Flexible and blended work environment; make use of leave, flexible working and our 16 weeks paid primary parental leave options.Help create your Individual Development Plan and create significant opportunities for your professional development.A rewarding Wellness Program with AIA Vitality – earn cashback for gym shoes!Access to a multitude of rewards: discounts across shopping, food and wine, insurance, health and wellbeing, leisure and entertainment.Take advantage of our salary sacrifice options including cars, eligible portable electronic devices and professional memberships.As part of the recruitment process, there are several checks which may be conducted to demonstrate an applicant's suitability for a role including police/criminal background checks, medical, drug and alcohol testing, due diligence checks, right to work checks, and/or reference checks.Ref: 261705Discipline: Contracts AdministratorPrimary Location: Australia-WA-Port Hedland, Karratha & PilbaraWork Type: Full-time
