About the Role
Join a Major Gold Mining Client working in their Major Studies team as a Senior Contracts Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be the timely delivery and meticulous administration of contractual agreements. You will ensure that these agreements align with the technical, cost, and schedule requirements of their capital projects.
Key Criteria Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Commerce, Business, Accounting, or a related field. 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience managing the entire contract lifecycle, including procurement planning, tendering, negotiation, administration, and close-out. Prior engagement with a key player in brownfields construction and capital procurement projects. Proven capability in orchestrating requirements across various functions and adeptly handling multiple assignments concurrently. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in the mining and/or resources industry. Ability to frame and interpret the terms and conditions of construction, supply, service and consultancy contracts used in the Australia mining industry. Knowledge of SAP/Ariba or equivalent enterprise level software packages. Strong computer skills using office software such as MS Office. Standard Competencies Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail. Able to work effectively in the project team, and share and transfer knowledge within the team. What's on Offer?
