Senior Contract Administrators

Details of the offer

About Abergeldie
Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with close to 30 years of industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy, and Remediation industry sectors.
Our projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works, and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Senior Contract Administrators, with an interest in supporting significant infrastructure projects across both Metropolitan and Regional NSW.
We have roles that will be Sydney based and others that at times will require travel to project sites across both Metropolitan and Regional NSW (DIDO/FIFO from a Sydney base, with accommodation and LAFHA included), to engage on the likes of the New Dubbo Bridge, Vaucluse Diamond Bay Sydney Water Project - and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Contract Administrator with Abergeldie, your responsibilities will include:
Developing, reviewing, and negotiating contract variations. Resolving challenges related to contracts and programs. Managing and organising all paperwork associated with contract administration, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Monitoring work progress and promptly reporting any variations or changes to the Project Manager. Collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure the successful achievement of project goals and objectives. Collecting, analysing, and interpreting data associated with project deliverables. Preparing insightful reporting which provides a comprehensive overview of the project's activities and outcomes. Providing valuable advice to the Project Manager, Commercial Manager, and other stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Assisting in risk management and mitigation strategies. Managing subcontractor and supplier agreements, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services and materials. Facilitating effective communication between project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. What You'll Bring to the Team
You will be an experienced Senior Contract Administrator with a solid background in civil infrastructure projects. Head Contractor experience is also highly desirable.
You will be a natural problem solver and creative thinker who enjoys working on technically complex projects. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. You should be experienced in:
Cost management and budget control. Building and managing contract variations. Managing subcontractors and supplier agreements. Preparing and negotiating Extensions of Time (EOTs). Risk management and mitigation strategies. Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Why You Should Work With Us
Our people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we ensure that this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term.
We offer a range of employee benefits, including the Abergeldie Bonus Scheme, where all eligible employees share in the benefits of the projects they have helped deliver.
When we deliver winning projects, we celebrate success together!
