This is a unique opportunity to work for a reputable Builder with a large pipeline of work for the next 3 years. They build from start to finish, ensuring optimum consistency, cost efficiency, and quality of finishes on every project they take on. This company works in the commercial space, and typically, projects range from $20m - $200m. They are renowned for possessing a superior level of expertise and experience in the industry and winning awards for building excellence.WHAT'S ON OFFEROur client is after a Senior CA to join the business and be the lead CA on a brand new $100m high-rise Commercial new build for a blue-chip client. This builder has a strong reputation for delivering complex, detailed, award-winning projects. Ideally, you would deliver this project as the lead SCA, and then if you perform to a high level, you would move into a Contract Manager role for the business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESIn-depth understanding of, and the ability to manage, all facets of the head contract and subcontract process. This begins at tendering through preparation and letting, payment, and post-project completion.Proficient in all contractual matters and the ability to communicate this knowledge in a practical and meaningful way to the project team.Understand and comply with the company business systems. Administer projects ensuring accuracy of records and timely communication of all project details.Assist the Project Manager with project financial reporting and analysis.Develop an understanding and working knowledge of project planning and programming.Train, mentor, and coach Contracts Administrators in administration duties and systems. Coordinate their activities to develop them and to deliver project outcomes.Ensure safety compliance on site within your roles and responsibilities.KEY REQUIREMENTSTertiary qualification in either Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.Minimum 10-12 years previous experience, where you've negotiated and let contracts across a range of trades.Strong knowledge of the head contract is critical.Solid knowledge of subcontract tendering, standards, procedures, and the competitive market.Experience on construction projects in Commercial from $50m - $100m.Must have local experience, preferably in Sydney or other Australian States.Exceptional client management skills.Superior written and verbal communication skills.Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.Proficiency in Jobpac or CHEOPS is advantageous.If you would like to find out more and are generally interested in furthering your career, please contact ****** or call David Shapiro on 0416 214 189.
