As our Head of External Relations, reporting to the General Manager Corporate Affairs, you will assist with the delivery of The Star Entertainment Group's Corporate Affairs strategy with a key focus in NSW.
This is a fantastic opportunity managing an external engagement program for the business, working with property leaders and the communications and stakeholder team members at The Star Sydney, The Star Gold Coast, and The Star Brisbane.
A few of your responsibilities:
Create opportunities for the business through the leveraging of external relationships across the private and public sector and assist in managing The Star's community partnerships program across the Group.
Assist in delivering a community engagement program for The Star Entertainment Group across the Group.
Provide feedback to General Manager Corporate Affairs and senior The Star Entertainment Group Executives regarding potential opportunities within the external stakeholder domain.
What we are looking for:
Demonstrate strategic planning, excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with superior influencing strategies across multiple stakeholder streams.
A strong network of contacts in government, corporate, and industry with proven success in negotiating business outcomes.
About you:
You are an experienced corporate affairs professional with appropriate tertiary qualifications and have shown your ability to work in small, fast-paced teams.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting the Chief Operating Officer and the General Manager of Corporate Affairs, demonstrating the personal and people leadership to shape the ongoing success of the business.
