Senior Contract Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Contract Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and management of contracts with our suppliers, ensuring that we achieve operational efficiencies and meet key business priorities. This role will be working at our offices located in Redfern, Sydney Olympic Park & Chatswood. As part of your application, you will be required to provide your location preferences.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and manage supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Utilise best practice knowledge to optimize day-to-day supplier management processes. Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, delivering value for money. Interface with multiple departments to gather requirements and feedback for contract negotiations and renewals. Engage with suppliers as needed to resolve issues and enhance relationships. Support the business in achieving key priorities through effective contract management practices. Ensure all contract activities adhere to compliance and probity requirements. Experience and Qualifications: Degree qualifications or equivalent, with infrastructure, construction and MRO sector and/or relevant industry experience. 5+ years' experience working in contract management in a large complex organisation, preferably in a similar organisation or industry sector. Strong stakeholder management skills with multiple stakeholders and in particular external suppliers. Strong communication skills with the ability to convene complex commercial matters through reports and presentations and a strong understanding of construction law. Relevant work experience for Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors in addition to client side. Industry-wide knowledge around key principles and structure of the New Engineering Contract - Revision 4 (NEC4) for efficient management of contractual obligations.
