Liaising with clients, suppliers and main contractors Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities Master-plan and feasibility budgets Cost checking of developing design Value engineering Tender evaluations and analysis Contract negotiations Cash flow projects Procurement Cost reporting Evaluation of variations Valuations Final account reporting Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims Investment analysis Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas: Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software / Cost X Demonstrated track record of winning and managing major projects This is a rare opportunity to join a well known and regarded civil contractor here in Sydney.
