In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in managing and overseeing the contractual aspects of our construction projects, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and successful project delivery.
What you'll be doing Reviewing, negotiating, and administering construction contracts to safeguard the interests of 5Point Monitoring contract performance and compliance, identifying and addressing any issues or disputes in a timely manner Assisting with the preparation of tender documentation, including drafting and reviewing contractual terms and conditions Providing expert advice and guidance to project teams on contractual matters, interpreting complex legal clauses and mitigating risks Maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of construction projects Staying abreast of industry regulations, trends, and best practices in contract management What we're looking for Minimum 6 years of experience in a senior contract administration or management role, preferably within the construction industry Thorough understanding of construction contracts, including standard forms such as AS2124 and AS4000 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate contractual risks Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels Proficient in the use of relevant contract management software and tools Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as law, construction management, or business administration What we offer At 5Point Projects, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment that allows our employees to thrive.
