Our opportunity We have a number of opportunities for our iconic projects in Sydney including 55 Pitt Street and Harbourside.
Part of the Apartments and Commercial division, as a Senior Contract Administrator, you will ensure the delivery of the project meets or exceeds the project parameters for cost.
You will also provide financial and administrative guidance to the project team.
Your responsibilities will include: Manage and lead the subcontractor tender process.
Arrange the calling of quotations and completing tender comparison for review of by the Project Team.
Lead Tender Meetings and negotiations with subcontractors.
Manage and lead all financial and contractual aspects associated with the subcontract.
Overall management and responsibility for the project cost report - ensure project parameters for costs are meet or exceeded.
Prepare and maintain cost controls and closely monitor financial risk and opportunities.
Assessment of works complete and preparation of progress claims (as applicable).
Maintain Project Schedule of Rates.
Carry out Cost Exercises as required.
Assist Commercial Manager when required and requested.
Assist Project Manager and Project Site Team.
Provide financial and commercial guidance to the project manage and site team.
Your point of difference We are looking for experiences Contract Administrator with 5+ years industry experience on large commercial projects.
You will also have: Financial or accounting experience would be desirable Degree qualified in a relevant field of study, coupled relevant experience as a Contract Administrator, or Senior Contract Administrator on large building projects ($80mil+) Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail Understanding the risks and limitations associated with all project legal agreements and requirements Sound working knowledge of project administration and project control applications Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to a range of audiences Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills Understanding of commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts and subcontracts Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with the ability to foster a strong culture in-line with Mirvac's key values Passionate about delivering customer focused quality, leaving a positive legacy in the communities in which you operate Projects 55 Pitt Street (Commercial tower) With frontages to Pitt, Underwood and Dalley Streets, 55 Pitt will deliver approximately 70,000sqm of premium commercial and activated retail space as part of a vibrant new destination that will contribute towards the revitalisation of the iconic Circular Quay precinct.
Designed by SHoP Architects and Woods Bagot, 55 Pitt will be a city sanctuary, delivering the new nature of experience.
Harbourside (Mixed-use precinct) The redevelopment of Harbourside will reimagine the Darling Harbour waterfront for the 21st century, reconnect with the people and places of Pyrmont, and create a network of new public spaces that bring residents, workers, tourists, and locals together in a locally loved mixed-used precinct of the future.
Mirvac's 87,000sqm mixed use development includes: 33,500sqm of office space, 10,000sqm of shopping, entertainment and hospitality space; approx.
265 luxury apartments within a 42 storey residential tower that sits above the podium; and 10,200 sqm of public domain including a proposed 3,500sqm Waterfront Gardens, as well as a widened Waterfront Promenade.
