About the role This is a lead content-producing role accountable for the overarching editorial success of Home Beautiful and the Home Beautiful Marketplace. A key part of this role is ideating and producing a wide range of on-brand original content - including news and in-depth features - as well as reworking magazine content for an online audience. The Senior Content Producer will assist with Home Beautiful social assets and EDMs by executing strategy and creating content for these assets. They will also create shopping content to support e-commerce revenue and drive traffic to the Home Beautiful Marketplace.The Senior Content Producer needs to be adept at using analytic tools and other available data and insights to grow traffic and audiences and build brand equity, audience loyalty and a supportive commercial environment.The Senior Content Producer leads by example to ensure consistency in operations and processes, as well as ensuring the content created is always of high quality - working towards a collaborative team culture across the category and wider digital department. The Senior Content Producer can also be called on to mentor or train less experienced team members or those from other departments, as requested or required.DutiesContent ideation, planning and executionCreating clean, factually correct and highly engaging contentOptimising magazine content for a digital audienceResearch and liaising with experts and PRs for stories.Social media and email executionInstagram, Facebook and Pinterest (where applicable) account management, with audience engagement and growthWeekly EDM sends - ensuring content is optimised to drive traffic.Producing shopping contentGenerating ideas for and creating new affiliate content based on current trends, sales and previous affiliate winsGenerating ideas for and creating shopping content to drive revenue from the Home Beautiful ShopGenerating a roster of content based on data garnered from affiliate partnership platforms as well as spreadsheets from Audience Development.Skills and experience4-5 years' writing experience in digital mediaExperience with content management systems, photo editing and analytic toolsUnderstanding and experience with different social media platformsExperience in content ideationAbility to work in a fast-paced ever-evolving environmentKnowledge and understanding of SEOActs as a mentor; sharing knowledge and insights while ensuring the team environment is collaborativeAre Media is committed to a diverse, respectful, collaborative & inclusive workplace.
