This role presents an existing opportunity to step into the dynamic world of tax technology. If you are a tax consultant or manager looking for your next role while still being able to leverage your tax experience, this may be the role for you.
As a senior consultant in the Professional Services team, you will have a wide range of responsibilities as a subject matter expert in our tax software products, leveraging your Australian tax experience. You will deliver implementation projects of tax software for a range of clients, including ASX100 and multi-national corporates. You will advise clients as the technical subject matter expert for our tax software products, train clients, prepare user guides and other documentation, perform product testing and troubleshooting. Along with a team of consultants, you will also be involved in a major project assisting our entire customer base to migrate from legacy software versions to new, updated versions. You will support the client relationship management team as the technical expert in client conversations.
About the Role As a Senior Consultant, Professional Services you will:
Deliver implementation projects for tax software products, including advising clients as the technical subject matter expert, providing training, preparing user guides and other documentation, performing product testing and troubleshooting;Project manage implementation projects, including creating project plans, meeting and reporting management, monitoring and managing risks;Be involved in sales enablement activities, by scoping and selling the value of our tax software products and services to new and existing customers;Manage multiple clients and projects at the same time;Enable client retention and relationship management efforts, by supporting the client relationship managers in their dealings with customers as the technical expert;Prepare user guides, implementation reports, training manuals and other documentation as required;Deliver training sessions and webinars to clients.About You For this role, ideally we are looking for someone with:
4+ years of experience in Australian taxExperience with tax preparation software, such as ONESOURCE or CCH IntegratorUnderstanding of tax effect accounting and its practical applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to explain technical concepts in a clear, concise mannerExcellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentProject management skillsIf you are interested but don't have all of the skills listed, we would still love to hear from you!
