As part of the Risk Consulting team, you'll be at the forefront of a global team supporting Australia's public services through innovative risk consulting, internal audit, and large-scale assurance services.

We are on the lookout for a Senior Consultant to join our Process and Controls team, focusing on internal audit and assurance services within the government & public sector.
This role is about more than audits and controls; it's about being a part of a team that is integral to ensuring that government departments and agencies operate at their best.
Your work will help to enhance the services government delivers to citizens, safeguard public funds, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide insights that lead to better governance and service delivery.
As our Senior Consultant you'll:
Work with and be supported by a team of highly qualified and experienced people who are recognised leaders in the industry.
Lead the delivery of internal audit projects, ensuring that all engagements are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored internal audit strategies that effectively address risk management and process controls.
Apply your project management skills to oversee the successful execution of audit plans, from initiation to completion.
Contribute to the development of innovative audit methodologies and the integration of digital tools to enhance audit effectiveness and insights.
What we're looking for:
Some experience in project delivery, perhaps within the internal audit or risk management space, or within the public sector.
A foundation in risk and control principles, a track record of managing audit or risk-related projects with diligence and precision, or a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication, inter-personal, and organisational skills, with the capacity to influence project teams towards successful delivery.
Australian citizenship and the ability to work in Canberra.
It's great, but not required, if you have: Progress towards professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar) or a commitment to achieving them.
Tertiary qualifications.
Experience with digital audit tools and enthusiasm for adopting cutting-edge technologies.
