Job Opportunity: As we continue our significant national growth, we currently have an opportunity for a Senior Consultant position in our Industrial Relations Specialist Group, to join our 'great place to work' in our Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, or Perth based team.

Requirements: Demonstrated experience in the effective management of people matters within a contemporary workplace setting. An excellent understanding of contemporary workplace legislation and the industrial landscape. The capability to develop strong consulting relationships with Mapien clients. Excellent, professional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in providing timely and practical employee relations advice to key stakeholders. Qualifications in Employment Law, Industrial/Employee Relations, and/or Human Resources is preferred. The ability to work collaboratively within Mapien's wider diverse and multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities: Industrial Relations Expertise: Navigating industrial relations complexities including FWC representation, enterprise bargaining, workplace agreements, dispute resolution, and industrial action management. Employee Relations Management: Proven track record in handling disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and terminations while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices. Legislative Compliance: Current knowledge and understanding of Australian workplace legislation, including Fair Work Act, workplace health and safety regulations, anti-discrimination laws, and other statutory requirements. Consulting and Client Relationship Management: Ability to build trust-based relationships with clients, understanding their needs, providing strategic advice, and delivering tailored solutions. FWC Representation: Experience in representing clients before the Fair Work Commission, including preparation of submissions, attending hearings, and advocating for client interests. Enterprise Bargaining: Proficiency in facilitating enterprise bargaining agreements, conducting negotiations, drafting agreements, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
