The Client & Role: We're currently working with an Australian financial services institution that are undertaking a transition of their custody platform.
They are looking for a Senior Consultant with experience on custody platforms to engage the organisation on a contractual engagement until the end of April.
The role will be operated on a full-time basis with a hybrid work mode of three days per week onsite in their central CBD office.
Rate on offer is up to $1000 per day inclusive of super and contracting cost.
Responsibilities: * Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements specific to the custody transition * Analyse existing custody data to ensure accurate and complete migration.
Mapping of current data to future state, identify data gaps and work with teams to resolve them * Liaise between business units, technical teams and third parties, to facilitate communication and understanding * Manage Investment (Equities, Managed Funds, Fixed Interest, Bonds, Property) data, financial reporting data and transactions migration * Document current custody processes and workflows, and develop future-state process maps post migration * Ensure proper alignment of data fields between old and new systems * Develop and execute test cases to validate the accuracy of the migration.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders * Define test cases based on business requirements and data specifications * Identify potential risks related to the migration project and work with the project manager to develop mitigation strategies * Maintain detailed documentation of data analysis processes, testing, procedures and outcomes * Assist stakeholders on updating Excel models to map to future state data model * Writing and running SQL or Python Queries Required Skills & Specialisms: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, IT or related field * 7+ years' experience in superannuation or financial services, particularly in custody or asset management * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Experience in performing multiple roles across Business Analysis, Data Analysis and Testing * Proven experience in data migration processes and tools * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment If you have experience on Custody Platform projects in a Consultant or Business Analyst capacity, apply now via the link provided or send your resume and a relevant overview to Daniel at ****** Due to the nature of this position, candidates will only be considered on this role if they can demonstrate experience in relevant Custody Platform projects or can show a strong operational understanding of them and have a significant background in the investment / superannuation industry.
