Status: Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Salary: $104,949.64 - $120,692.08 per annum + 11.5% superannuation + leaseback vehicle/sustainability allowance + mobile phone

Our Regulatory Services Team is seeking a Senior Swimming Pool Compliance Officer.
Purpose: Effectively implement Council's regulatory swimming pool and building/development compliance and other regulatory functions and services, in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
About the role: Inspection and assessment of properties with swimming pools and issue of notices, directions and penalty notices in accordance with the Swimming Pools Act 1992. Coordinate and implement Council's responsibilities under the Swimming Pools Act 1992, including Council's Swimming Pools Inspection Program. The full range of Senior Swimming Pool Compliance Officer activities you will be responsible for and involved with are outlined in the Position Description. About you: Tertiary Qualifications in building surveying, swimming pool compliance, regulatory investigations, or other relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the implementation of Council's responsibilities and functions in the Swimming Pools Act 1992, Swimming Pools Regulation 2018 and associated Standards. Good knowledge of the provisions of the Swimming Pools Act 1992, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, Local Government Act 1993 and other Local Government legislation.
