The role will enable and drive a strong culture of compliance with
the Petroleum Act 1984, Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1981 ,
Energy Pipelines Act 1981
and
Geothermal Energy Act 2009
(collectively 'the Energy Legislation' in the Northern Territory).
As Senior Compliance Liaison Officer, you will develop strategic and innovative approaches to facilitating industry compliance with the Energy Legislation, including the delivery of targeted compliance and monitoring programs. You will support the implementation and continuous improvement of the regulatory framework, including monitoring and compliance policies, programs, procedures, and reporting mechanisms, through engagement with industry and regulatory officers in the Department.
