Staff in our department work across the areas of local government, sport and recreation, culture and the arts, racing, gaming and liquor, multicultural interests, specialist Aboriginal projects and engagement, regulatory reform, infrastructure and state records.
About the role We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Senior Complaints and Governance Officer to join our team. We have one permanent, full time (75hrs p/f) position available.
As the Senior Complaints and Governance Officer you will play a crucial role in the team that provides support to the development, implementation and oversight of DLGSC's corporate governance, risk management, and audit functions.
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring that DLGSC's governance and integrity processes are upheld, including for complaint handling; gifts, benefits and hospitality; and Public Interest Disclosure. Other relevant governance projects in accordance with legislative frameworks, policies, and best practice requirements. The ideal candidate should be passionate about, and have experience in, reporting and analytics.
