Our client, a leading company in the battery energy storage systems industry for utility-scale applications, is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to join their team in Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in renewable energy solutions, contributing to the widespread adoption of clean energy.

Position: Senior Commissioning Manager
Location: Sydney or Melbourne, Australia
Package: $180,000 + bonuses 

The Role:
As the Senior Commissioning Manager, you will lead a team of commissioning managers and engineers, overseeing the execution of all commissioning activities for utility-scale Battery Storage projects.
You will be the key technical liaison with clients and EPC partners during the critical commissioning phase of projects.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plansManage a team of 2-3 Commissioning ManagersCreate and implement quality inspection and commissioning proceduresCollaborate with stakeholders to define and execute testing protocolsDrive continuous improvement in technical problem-solvingMaintain relationships with various subcontractorsTravel up to 50% of the time, with on-site stays of 2-3 weeks during commissioning activitiesQualifications:Master's degree in electrical engineering or related disciplineMinimum 10 years of direct technical experience in relevant industriesAt least 5 years of team management experienceMinimum 5 years of commissioning experienceDeep knowledge of power system installation, construction, and designProficiency in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartsheetExceptional technical writing and communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesIdeal Candidate:
