This involves the establishment of contracts, change management, negotiating variations and monitoring supplier performance.Key accountabilities will include:Develop and administer contract management plans, negotiate changes and modifications, supplier performance management and compliance requirements through effective supplier relationships to enhance business outcomes.Responsible for managing and monitoring contractor performance & delivery.Identify, record and escalate contractual risks and issues.Analysing and interpreting complex contract terms with regards to the associated commercial risk and liability.Undertake business needs assessment, supply market analysis and commercial risk assessments to inform procurement planning and sourcing decisions.Plan and lead RFx events to deliver value for money procurement outcomes.Develop, co-ordinate and lead sourcing activities to establish supply arrangements that meet business needs.Liaising with teams within and outside the agency providing sound commercial and contractual advice.To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:Ability to work individually, seek targeted feedback and manage changing priorities.Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, procurement or a related field.Sound understanding of contract development, supplier management and governance processes along with an awareness of industry leading commercial and governance best practices.Demonstrated ability to derive insights from data/contracts and develop reports, procurement documents or presentations with an elevated level of accuracy.Strong understanding of commercial management and negotiation skills including interpreting and applying contract terms and legislative provisions.Robust understanding of procurement principles, relevant statutory regulations and client standards, technical design and construction obligations.Demonstrated experience in partnering with the business to support commercial negotiations and ability to manage multiple large-scale projects across the lifecycle.Ability to develop / foster successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Previous experience in a fast-paced technical environment and exposure to the IT or Telecommunications projects, procurement, legal or finance is desirable.What we need from you:An up-to-date CV (max 5 pages) and a brief cover letter (max. 1 page) outlining how your skills and experience are aligned to the role.For enquiries regarding this position, please contact:Francois Fernandes on ****** NSW Telco AuthorityNSW Telco Authority (NSWTA) operates and manages the Public Safety Network to deliver radio communications for frontline responders.
