Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting and optimising cloud and infrastructure solutions hosted in AWS and Dynatrace.What You'll Do:As the Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for defining, documenting, and implementing best practices and strategies around the deployment, maintenance, and optimisation of essential hosting services. These include:Storage Solutions: Backup and recovery operations.Server Management: Overseeing Active Directory and virtualisation services.Remote Desktop Management: Supporting virtual environments, including AVD.Optimisation: Ensuring all systems run efficiently and effectively, driving continuous improvement.What We're Looking For:We're searching for a professional who can partner with the Technology team and the business to achieve outstanding outcomes, optimising both end-user and customer experiences.Key Skills and Experience:5+ years of experience in infrastructure and cloud engineering or a related field.A background in corporate or retail environments, delivering results in collaboration with technology teams.Expertise with Dynatrace is essential.Strong experience in cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.Technical skills across UNIX systems (AIX/Linux), SAN Storage Systems (HPE 3Par), VMWare, Windows Server platforms, Citrix, and Oracle.A proactive ability to assess and improve solutions that meet business needs.Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (O365, SharePoint) and AzureAD administration.Knowledge of scripting, Microsoft Active Directory, backup, archive, and storage technologies.Certifications in AWS or Microsoft systems are highly regarded.Certifications:AWS Certified Practitioner or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (preferred).Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (advantageous).
