About the Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the team at ASC. Reporting to the IT Delivery and Operations Manager, the Senior Cloud Engineer will be pivotal in the technical execution of the ongoing implementation, evolution, and operation of ASC's cloud platform.
Responsibilities Serve as the technical lead for the deployment, operations and sustainment of the ASC cloud environment. Work with the Architecture Team and Business Units to design, develop and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures. Provide advanced troubleshooting and response for any cloud operational incidents. Work closely with cross functional teams including security, network and application support teams to ensure seamless integration, operations and support of cloud services. Ensure the cloud platform remains compliant with relevant security and regulatory requirements. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the cloud environment including designs and operating procedures. Provide leadership & advice on the technical aspects of cloud innovation and emerging technology for regulated environments. Implement cost control and cost optimisation for the cloud environment aligned with required service levels and budgets. About you Minimum of 5 years of experience with Azure in cloud engineering. Professional certification in Azure Solutions Architect Expert. A deep technical understanding of Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Proven experience with Microsoft Entra, M365, Microsoft Well Architected Framework and Azure Landing Zones. Proven experience with developing and deploying infrastructure and applications as code. Experience with cloud migration and common cloud native application architectures and technical blueprints. Knowledge of cloud security concepts including posture management and security baselines for regulated organisations. The ability to write code in PowerShell. Demonstrated high-level analytical and technical problem-solving skills. Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role is South Australian based at Osborne; or can be open to flexible/remotely based for the right candidate. Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
