We provide accessible mental health services inclusive of family, friends and support networks. We are a specialist, multi-disciplinary and intensive care mental health service incorporating the lived and living experience of family peer specialists and youth peer workers.
Our service is divided into two streams 0-11 and 12-26 years, and includes specialist services in the areas of perinatal care, neurodevelopmental presentations, eating disorders and outreach support.

What you'll be doing The Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service received 3 years of funding for an in-home intensive early engagement and treatment program for eating disorders.The program will support young people not responding to community treatment and provide a step-down from acute residential care, including meal coaching and home-based outreach.The Senior Clinician will be part of an interdisciplinary team, reporting to the Eating Disorders Team Leader.Care will involve the young person, their family, and support networks, combining lived experience and clinical staff.The position is funded until June 30, 2027, based in Moorabbin, with potential for extension.The role includes working some evening and Saturday shifts, providing meal support, therapeutic care, and coordination with schools/workplaces.About you Bachelor's in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or equivalent, or nursing degree with postgraduate qualifications in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.Experience in dialogical practice.Benefits Salary Packaging & Novated Leasing through Maxxia.Flexible Health Insurance coverage through HCF Health Insurance.On-site car & bike parking opportunities, Deducted Pre-Tax.Fantastic onsite fitness facilities at The Alfred through ProSport Health and Fitness.Child Care Services at The Alfred managed by KU Children's Services.If applicable, specify specific requirements that you require in the cover letter or CV.
