About the role Chandler Macleod supporting our State Government client seeking a Senior Client Relationship Officer.
The role is critical to the work in the Region with PMT transfers, Stimulus, ongoing property inspections and upgrades, and new acquisitions.
The Western Region team supports the contractual responsibilities of the providers and management of more than some 2,000 properties across their geographical area.
This results in a high number of interactions and engagement with housing providers.
Duties Lead client issue and inquiry resolution process from inception to completion to ensure timely completion within service standards.
Collaborate with housing providers in relation to key client based strategic programs.
Manage client outcomes in relation to property transfers Act as the local representative and partner in the region building effective working relationships with providers, community leaders and clients to better meet client needs and develop partnerships that support individual, family and household outcomes and community building.
Contribute to business and performance planning at the regional level and plan activities and projects to ensure the team meets broader planning and service commitments.
Complete work plans, activity tracking and measurements of work schedule completion Make recommendations based on subject matter expertise on service delivery gaps and risks that inform sound policy and informed decision making.
Skills and Experience This is an Identified role under the Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 and as such Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role.

Demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal cultural beliefs and attitudes and of the socio-economic position of Aboriginal people within Australian society, and of their impacts in relation to housing.
A thorough understanding of the Aboriginal political and historical impacts upon policy developments in NSW and nationally in relation to Aboriginal land rights, and Aboriginal land use.
