Full time AIE is a dynamic, family/employee-owned engineering consultancy with a passion for delivering real-world solutions. We're seeking a skilled Senior Civil Engineer with remediation design experience and project management skills to join our team and contribute to a critical remediation project.
About the Role: As a Senior Civil Engineer on the Berth C&D Remediation Project, you'll play a pivotal role in the assessment of structural defects on steel wharves used for iron ore loading at BHP's Finucane Island.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all engineering aspects of the project, including remediation design, ensuring safe and efficient construction, commissioning, and operation.Manage project engineering deliverables, such as technical documentation, QMPs, ITPs, WMSs, and MDRs.Collaborate with technical teams and external contractors to ensure project success.Drive value optimisation through ESO and VE activities.Contribute to project risk reviews and capture lessons learned.Support operational readiness and participate in leadership activities.Duration: 12+ months, nominal start Nov-24 or ASAP.Location: Port Hedland, Western Australia (site-based roster TBC).Reporting: Report to the site Lead Delivery on a day-to-day basis.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 8 years' experience in structural remediation projects, preferably in marine environments.Experience in remediation design and project management.Chartered status (CP Eng) with IEAust preferred.Experience in site-based project delivery.Strong teamwork, influencing, and negotiation skills.Uncompromising safety mindset and standards.Alignment with business values and code of conduct.To Apply: We welcome queries from anyone interested in this role.
