Working within the Group Strategy Change Management area, this role is critical in supporting the Senior Manager – Strategic Change to ensure successful change management, the delivery of business outcomes, and support the leadership and/or development of change practitioners, directly influencing positive change outcomes. This includes managing senior stakeholder relationships and directly contributing to the development and implementation of effective key change management activities, strategies, and plans. This role will also support building the change capabilities required to support the delivery of RAC's Purpose, Vision, Mission and create value for members.
Key responsibilities: Change Management and leadership:Managing a complex and varied portfolio of change management activities, projects, deliverables, and resources in line with agreed change methodologies.Lead the collaborative planning, development, and implementation of change initiatives to support agreed project delivery and goals.Providing effective leadership, management, support, and guidance to Change team members to drive performance and accountability across all business areas, programs, and projects.Leading and conducting relevant change management assessments to directly inform the key stages of change management including planning, assessing, implementing, monitoring, and reinforcing change.Providing coaching, mentoring, and supporting professional development internally within the change team as agreed with the Head of Change.Support the definition of key success metrics and monitor progress of change effectiveness to enable the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the Change area.Leading the design and implementation of operational and business area change communications.Driving the capability uplift and understanding of change across the organisation.Proactively identifying and navigating potential business and change risks, issues/challenges.Planning and strategy:Supporting, developing, and maintaining the strategic change management approach for the relevant business area and its initiatives.Contributing to the development, management, and maintenance of RAC's Change Portfolio.Ensuring effective change delivery and contribute to appropriate prioritisation, change management standards, and the continuous improvement of RAC's change capabilities.Leading and participating in the completion of strategic and portfolio change management assessments.Ensuring effective change governance across the change function.Relationship management:Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including direct engagement with senior leaders across the organisation.Supporting Change team in their delivery of high levels of satisfaction, including addressing change concerns or stakeholder resistance.Leading by example and working collaboratively with other change leaders to leverage strong stakeholder relationships, across multiple Business Units.Integrating with the Group Strategy function to provide change management expertise and ensure change impacts are coordinated at an Enterprise level.What you'll bring: Relevant Tertiary Qualification or experience is mandatory.Change Management certification or experience is mandatory.Substantial experience in delivering change programs and projects across a range of organisations/business areas.Demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing stakeholders, including management at all levels.Demonstrated knowledge and experience of established and contemporary change management approaches, practices, and tools.Experience in managing a team of change professionals (desirable) and/or mentoring and guiding others.Demonstrated experience in articulating the business case for change and demonstrating the benefits.Demonstrated ability to think and operate strategically and operationally, thinking of both the bigger picture as well as the detail.What can we offer you?
