A little about the role The Senior Case Worker will oversee case management and case work services for the Family Support and Wellbeing Service (FSWS). This service partners with Aboriginal Controlled Community organisations (ACCOs) and, in conjunction with the Program Manager – FSWS, will manage the Early Intervention Family Support Service (EIFS) and the Family Carer Support Service (FCSS).
You will have day-to-day line management of staff, including recruitment, induction, coaching and supervision responsibilities.Together with your team, you will build the capacity of families through the delivery of focused, flexible supports utilising the KAA Practice Framework.Your experience in developing, leading and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders such as the Dept of Communities and other local community supports would be highly advantageous.You will provide 1:1 group supervision and coaching with your team.You will ensure policy and procedures are adhered to, including the storage of client management system data in a timely manner.The base salary for this position is $97,377.80 - $101,787.92 /annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + mobile phone + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. Vehicle allowance and fuel card will be provided + regional allowance will be discussed at interview. This position is a permanent full-time position.
About you Recognised Social Work qualification or equivalent is essential.Minimum 5 years' experience of working directly with children/young people and families.The ability to demonstrate experience working with children/young people and families in a trauma-informed way is essential.It is desirable that you have experience in leadership or supervisory roles.A sound working knowledge and understanding of IT systems is essential.My Key Assets The health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee and client experience.
