Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a dedicated People Adviser to join our team.
As a People Adviser, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function by providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the People Partner – Advisory Lead, you will provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
This opportunity is available on a Full Time, 12 Month Maximum Term contract basis.
What will you be doing?Providing interpretation and advice to Leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and processes.Providing assistance to employees in relation to general HR enquiries.Reviewing and processing people tasks through the HR system (Workday).Assisting with the resolution of employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.Managing employee data and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.Assisting with the administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as performance management, training and development, and employee engagement.Staying informed of changes to employment laws and regulations and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.Collaborating with HR colleagues and other departments to support the achievement of organisational goals and objectives.What are we looking for in you?Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Previous experience in an HR role, with a focus on employee relations and advisory services.Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.What can we offer you?A workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected, and empowered.Work in flexible ways that meet work/life commitments and support wellbeing.Be part of a purpose-led organisation that gives back to the WA community.An environment that values ongoing career development.Free Roadside Assistance and discounts on RAC products and services including Holiday Parks and Resorts, Security, Finance, Auto Services, and Insurance.Opportunities for community engagement and corporate volunteering.Applications Close: Friday 27th December 2024.
