Overview As a Senior Case Manager in GB's Mental Injury Team, you will work closely with injured workers impacted by a mental injury to assist in their recovery as well as supporting their return work and health. By applying a person-centred management approach, you'll focus on your injured worker's needs and set recovery goals whilst supporting them to achieve these. You'll have the in-team support of a range of claims experts who specialise in legislation, return to work, injury management and more – it takes a team to achieve and outstanding claims service!

How you'll make an impact Your responsibilities will include: Providing a professional and customer centric Workers Compensation claims service to Injured Workers and Employers through effective claims managementDetermining claims with increasing levels of risk within your portfolio, and strategizing for both current and potential liabilities on these claimsUtilising claims management systems and databases to record and review claims information, ensuring privacy and accuracy of informationReviewing and processing documentation relating to requests for coverage of medical treatment and processing of weekly wage compensationDelivering high quality phone based customer service towards workers, employers, and medical practitionersWorking in conjunction with both external parties such as medical professionals, treating health providers, occupational rehabilitation services and employers, and internal teams such as your Injury Management andTechnical teams to facilitate and influence a sustainable return to work and life for injured workersParticipating in Case Conferences and implementing strategies for effective cost management on claimsReviewing and approving appropriate medical treatment and working closely with internal and external healthcare professionals as part of their journey to recovery. About you What are we looking for?
