Opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator / Contracts Manager to join a national, award-winning construction company in Sydney.

As such, they are looking to engage either a Senior Contracts Administrator who is looking to take a step up into a Contracts Manager position, or an established Contracts Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity with a top tier building firm.
ABOUT THE POSITIONAs the Contracts Manager, you will work alongside Senior Contract Administrators and Project Managers and report directly to the Commercial Manager. You will work collaboratively with site, design, and project teams to deliver projects for Blue-chip companies, from design through to completion stages. You will be responsible for managing teams of Project Coordinators, Contracts Administrators, and Cadets to ensure the commercial project is delivered to the highest standards.
DUTIESLeadership - play an integral role in overseeing and managing the project teams as you work collaboratively. Support, mentor, and guide the team from design through to delivery.Documentation - Take ownership of all financial and contractual requirements as part of the subcontractor tender process.Procurement - design and execute procurement strategies for commercial projects. Ensure all strategies are implemented to the highest standards, and meet requirements for increasing efficiency of subcontractor packages, procurement, and all financial and administrative duties.Financial Management – continuously assess and review progress claims, variations, and account forecasting.SKILLS & EXPERIENCEMinimum 8 years' experience.Proven track record delivering commercial projects above $20M.Proven record as a Senior Contracts Administrator/Contracts Manager or similar.Tertiary or Trade Qualification in a building related discipline is preferable.Showcase a strong track record of stability with previous employers.Outstanding people and communication skills.CULTUREThis company celebrates a culture that promotes inclusion, fairness, recognition, and a supportive management style.
