About the Role
The Senior Business Partner Privacy and Compliance offers an excellent opportunity to uplift the privacy framework at CFA. This specialist role will be responsible for managing the privacy management framework, promoting privacy awareness and training, overseeing compliance activities, coordinating investigations into privacy breaches, and leading privacy-related initiatives and projects across CFA. You will work closely with stakeholders, providing high-level briefings and correspondence related to policy and advice on privacy legislation.
You will play an integral role in building public confidence in CFA's commitment to protecting personal information while also establishing privacy representatives across all departments, districts, and regions, and setting clear goals to ensure the success of strategically aligned programs.
About You
Tertiary qualified with extensive experience in managing privacy frameworks within a large, complex, and diverse organisation.
Specialist knowledge of and experience in the practical application of legislative or regulatory requirements in a privacy context.
Experience providing high-quality accurate advice and support on privacy or compliance matters to internal and external stakeholders.
Significant experience within the government or emergency response sector with a sound understanding of the context in which CFA operates.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills with ability and experience in developing, managing, and influencing key stakeholders in a large and diverse organisation as well as preparing advice at senior executive levels.
Background of success in project management in high-pressure complex environments.
