THE ROLE We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and established Senior Business Operations Specialist to undertake various business and financial analyses and lead business improvement reviews in a complex and dynamic environment.
This challenging and rewarding position is crucial for providing in-depth analysis and evaluation of the Operations Directorate to reduce costs, maximize assets and resources, and explore and implement commercialisation opportunities.
ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess strong commercial, business, and management experience and skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and support senior management and colleagues towards achieving excellence in service delivery.
You will also have:
Relevant post graduate qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Business with 10+ years proven experience. Hold a CPA or equivalent professional membership for 10+ years. A proven track record of achievements and the capacity to thrive within a politically sensitive and complex environment. Competency in managing financial, operational, and business plans effectively, with strategic approaches to problem-solving and innovation in a fast-paced, complex, and diversified environment. Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management principles. A good understanding of costing principles and pricing methodologies. A reasonable understanding of workplace HR and IR legislation and practices. Working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
