The Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding Espire Infolabs' footprint across Australia. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and driving growth within the large enterprise sector. Your ability to engage with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions will be critical to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and Nurture Relationships: Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients to increase acquisition, retention, and maximise growth across Australia. Identify and Qualify Opportunities: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the market, driving strategic conversations from the initial contact to client acquisition. Lead Strategic Engagements: Engage with current and prospective clients to understand their needs, organisation structure, and key decision-makers, fostering relationships that drive value and align with Espire's vision and strategic roadmap. Pipeline and Account Management: Develop, build, and convert a consistent pipeline of leads for sustainable growth. Manage all account activities and ensure effective communication of client requirements to internal teams. SOW and Tender Management: Validate Statements of Work (SOW) and tender responses, ensuring they are aligned with delivery models, commercial terms, legal aspects, and are submitted on time. Presentations and Demos: Facilitate demos and capability presentations, delivering a great customer experience and consistently communicating the business value Espire offers. Thought Leadership and Market Insight: Provide thought leadership and commercial acumen in evaluating potential clients and partnerships. Continuously build personal knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, business drivers, and competitive landscapes. Uphold Espire Values: Represent Espire's values of integrity, transparency, customer-centricity, and commitment to quality in all market engagements, including on social media platforms. About You: You have 10-12 years of experience in software services sales within the Australian market, particularly in IT services, software solutions, customised application development, or outsourcing. You possess strong sales credentials with a proven track record of success in the enterprise sector. You are an effective communicator and presenter with high-level negotiation skills. You are initiative-taking, self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You have a bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA being highly regarded.
