Urbis, Shaping futures your way! The Opportunity: Urbis has an opportunity for a Senior Business Development Advisor to join our Brand & Clients team in Sydney!
This role will play a key part in developing and executing strategies to support the growth of revenue and reputation across the NSW Region, and potentially other key business, client or market opportunities.
Utilising market and client insights, you'll work closely with our Directors, Head of Business Development, and Business Development Managers to build and strengthen our client relationships, and promote profile within priority sectors.
Your role will be pivotal in fostering a market-oriented and collaborative culture across Urbis.
You will be responsible for implementing and executing business development plans and strategies to support growth in our key focus areas.
You will act as a trusted partner and advisor to Directors, Associate Directors and other stakeholders, providing strategic advice, coaching and supporting the practical implementation of business development strategies.
You will: Work as a trusted advisor to the region (and other relevant stakeholders within the portfolio of work) to support the achievement of revenue and BD objectives in alignment with the company strategy.Provide strategic and tactical advice to Directors to develop and implement client and market growth strategies.Maintain a small portfolio of identified regional client and sector growth priorities, working with lead Directors to agree the strategy, develop key relationships and facilitate internal client and sector teams.Drive collaborative work winning and client engagement behaviours and best practice through coaching, challenging and inspiring Directors and Associate Directors.Champion the clients' voice and a positive client experience.
This includes managing and conducting regular client listening and feedback sessions.Track, qualify and advise on strategic tenders / proposals including value proposition development, identification and leverage of aligned capabilities and partners.Connect Urbis leaders to market opportunities through industry associations, referrers, clients and other B2B relationships.About you: Have an undergraduate degree in Marketing or a Business-related fields.Strong BD experience (4-6 years) with a preference for experience in professional services, law, accounting, consultancy, and built form settings.Hold technical knowledge of business development and client relationship management.Knowledge of real estate / built environment sector will be highly regarded.Strong communication skills and experience in influencing within a professional services firm or large corporate.Experience and track record in sector development and key account management.Why Urbis?
