About the Role As a Senior Business Banking Manager in our Commercial Broker and Origination Team, you'll play a key role in helping to our business customers, brokers and community thrive.
This role drives new customer acquisitions and plays a critical role to increase Funds Under Management by providing whole of business finance solutions to help customers start, buy, grow and run their business.
As a Senior Business Banking Manager, you will achieve this by primarily developing & maintaining relationships with brokers, real estate agents, accountants (including other business bank lending affiliates) prospective and new to bank business owners.

As a Senior Business Banking Manager, you are accountable for:  Maintaining and leveraging deep circle of influence & broker relationships in order to achieve new to bank customers Driving a structured & disciplined weekly sales operating rhythm to achieve strong sales momentum Using data & insights to engage with potential and existing customers to identify opportunities New to bank acquisition including cold calling Effectively manage overall sales & revenue performance measured by Business Lending FUM drawn and other cross-sell opportunities Managing onboarding of new to bank customers and supporting effective handover to remote customer service proposition Overall accountability for having a well-managed business relating to operational risk and credit risk Developing strong relationships, influence & collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve complex problems Driving outstanding customer experience and outcomes measured through Net Promotor Score improvement Delivering excellent customer focus with genuine curiosity for understanding customer drivers and delivering solutions to meet their need What will you bring?

Relationship Management: Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Credit assessment and management: Assessing, advising, monitoring and/or approving a customer's credit worthiness, credit risk and suitable credit structuring options based on internal credit policies, guidelines, scoring models and/or applying judgement based on prior experience and knowledge.
Planning and Prioritisation: Planning and prioritising what needs to be done (including people, process and technology implications) in order to deliver upon customer/user needs and strategic priorities.
This includes identifying, planning for, tracking and resolving dependencies.
Customer Solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/or providing considered options, that meet those needs.
Commercial acumen: The ability to take a big picture view of the organisation, the market, external and internal pressures and trends and identify actions or strategies to drive efficiency and create long-term value.
Stakeholder management: The ability to identify, understand and anticipate the needs of those who can affect or be affected by  your work in order to gain commitment.
Influencing: The ability to gain the commitment of others through a range of techniques.
