Our client is a Tier1 client in Financial Services sector.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Record and Privacy Management to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, data privacy laws (such as GDPR, CCPA), and records management best practices.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the organization is aligned with industry standards and legal requirements regarding data handling and privacy.
Responsibilities : Lead the development and implementation of record management policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations regarding data retention, archiving, and destruction.
Provide subject matter expertise on privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant frameworks.
Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and manage data protection compliance projects.
Work with the legal and compliance teams to ensure the organization's data protection policies are up-to-date and enforceable.
Monitor privacy risk, propose risk mitigation strategies, and maintain data breach response protocols.
Lead the analysis of business processes related to data governance, privacy, and records management.
Gather, document, and validate requirements for new and existing processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
Identify and recommend improvements in workflows, systems, and data management practices.
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
Liaise with cross-functional teams including IT, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to drive projects forward and ensure successful implementation.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent application of record and privacy management policies.
Requirements: 6-8 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst with a focus on Record / Privacy Management.
If not, strong in Risk or Regulatory background will be considered.
Strong knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or equivalent.
Proven experience in records management, including policy development, implementation, and compliance.
Demonstrated experience with business process analysis, documentation, and optimization.
Familiarity with records management software and privacy management tools.
Certification in Records Management (CRM) or Privacy (CIPP, CIPM) is a plus.
