As a Data Analyst in our Business Lending team, you'll play a crucial role in developing and deploying significant improvements through Analytics practices.
By structuring data to develop insights, you'll enable the business to solve problems and guide strategic direction.
Key responsibilities
Design and present complex data visualizations and intuitive graphics for a non-technical audience.
Manage a backlog to build data capability aligned with strategic goals.
Understand data needs, create collection plans, and implement them to validate business problems.
Gather and translate data into structured, reusable insights for the team and business.
Continuously improve data logic, structure, and visualizations to support project delivery across platforms.
Share knowledge and information within internal and external networks to boost performance and productivity.
What do I need?
Tertiary or post graduate qualification in a computing/mathematical/finance discipline Proficient in Analytical frameworks and tools (R or Python desirable) with demonstrated experience Proficient in Teradata SQL, demonstrated experience working within Teradata Datawarehouse environments.
Proficient in Teradata ETL systems (BTEQ, MLOAD, TPump, Viewpoint) Proven experience translating business question(s) into Analytical tasks.
Experience developing data solutions in data warehouses or big data platforms Demonstrated ability to use Statistical Analysis to solve business problems.
Proficiency in translating and analysing large data sets General knowledge of Visualisation tools, preferably Tableau.
Lean Six Sigma awareness.
Highly proficient in using MS suite.
