Job Description

An Excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Member Operations Department on a 12 Month Contract.

Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Incident Resolution, the Senior Business Analysts' key responsibilities will be to provide sound investigation, ownership, and decision-making skills across a variety of areas including:

- The management of insurance and administration related breaches and incidents

- The assessment and management of remediation of incidents

- Deliver excellent member outcomes by solving problems through independent and collaborative thinking

- Work with internal/external stakeholders to implement process improvement

What you'll be doing
Report and resolve member facing breaches and incidents
Develop and seek approval of incident remediation solutions in accordance with Fund policies and practices.
Ensure timely implementation of approved remediation actions through external and internal stakeholders
Work with stakeholders to identify and implement any preventative actions.
Assist in the review and updating of business rules.
Appropriately track activities with clear traceability and complete within the agreed timeframes
Identify, communicate and assist to implement opportunities for process improvements.
Independently build rapport with stakeholders and understand stakeholder challenges and pain points
Effective messaging / communication skills to all levels in the organisation
Maintain strong working relationships with internal staff, consultants, insurers, and administrators.
Support and assist the Operational Leadership team as required.

What you'll need
At least two years' experience with insurance and / or superannuation
Solid working knowledge of superannuation legislation obligations
Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to proof read, spelling & English grammar skills essential.
Well-developed sense of initiative
Able to work diligently, efficiently, and with accuracy paying close attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage the range of tasks required of this position
An excellent working knowledge of/experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Outlook
An ability to work autonomously and pro-actively without supervision and to set own work plan in order to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills which foster cooperation and team work in a close team environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of staff and service providers
An ability to research matters of a technical nature
An ability to seek assistance when required.
An ability to read technical documents intelligently, to determine the subject matter and to prepare and summarise reports.
