As a Senior Business Analyst within the ePMO, you will play a pivotal role in driving change at Swinburne by enhancing business outcomes through innovative and high-quality analysis services. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying business needs and delivering solutions that maximize organizational value.
In this role, you will plan, manage, and define requirements from inception to implementation for the Services and Asset Management project. This includes establishing the business analysis approach, eliciting and documenting comprehensive business requirements and acceptance criteria. You will also manage solution scope, maintain requirements for future use, ensure traceability, and identify risks along with mitigation strategies.
Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with project teams, including Project Managers, IT teams, and external vendors, to support business case development, procurement processes, testing, operational readiness, change management, and post-implementation support.
You will also lead process improvement initiatives to optimise business operations by analysing current processes and designing innovative solutions that enhance efficiency. As a leader, you'll inspire and mentor others, helping to uplift Swinburne's Business Analysis capabilities by defining and embedding best practices within our Project Delivery Framework.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
BA KnowledgeSolid appreciation of BA methods and techniques, ideally relatable to common and best practice industry standards.Understanding and experience in the application of Business Analysis frameworks and their application across the project delivery lifecycles.Business Process ManagementExperience in the application of Business Process Management techniques including business process mapping (BPMN 2.0), gap analysis, reengineering and automation to streamline ways of working and achieve sustainable efficiencies.BA & Project Delivery ExperienceExperience working in large and complex projects, with demonstrated responsibility for the production and delivery of BA outcomes.Significant experience understanding business needs, gathering business requirements and articulating business solutions and future states that address problems/opportunities.The elicitation and documentation of end to end requirements and related BA artefacts, such as BA approaches, plans, high level, detailed, functional and non-functional requirements.Agile Delivery ExperienceElicitation and production of epics, user stories and acceptance criteria. Providing BA input into key project activities and ceremonies such as backlog management, sprint planning, work estimation, stand-ups, showcasing and retrospectives.Qualifications Post Graduate qualifications and demonstrated BA experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or trainingCertification in Business Analysis (i.e., CBAP, CBATL).To Apply
