Long term contract opportunity Fantastic team culture Energy Utilities/Gas experience Excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to identify, analyse and document the organisation's business intentions, services, processes and information to identify changes that lead to business improvements.The BA is an intermediary between the end-users and Technology to ensure that requirements are documented and understood, and solutions delivered are highly usable and well tested.Key Skills & Responsibilities Select and use appropriate BA artifacts for each situation.Domain expertise - Gas (or oil) transmission (trading, nominations, allocations, or billing), or Gas (or water) utility (distribution, metering, or billing) or Energy trading Work with business stakeholders to elicit business requirements for technology projects.Capture and document business requirements and translate these into clear functional and non-functional requirements and specifications.Organise and facilitate workshops.Map existing 'as is' business processes and work with the business to define the 'to be' desired state.Work with technical resources to interpret and translate business requirements into viable solutions that meet business needs.Participate in the development of test strategies, test plans and test cases and undertake testing activities.(i.e.HP ALM) A strong ability to converse with both end-users and Technology staff at all levels of the organisation.Experience with Agile tools on an agile / waterfall projects Strong skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Visio and Jira, sprint planning, managing backlog Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.To submit your interest for this role, click on the Apply button quoting reference #5578 Please note suitable applicants will be contacted within 2 business hours.Due to high volume, we will do our very best to contact all applicants and do apologise if there is a delay in this process.Please contact ****** with an application enquiry
