supporting the Chief Financial Officer with SCCQ's strategic growth opportunities through the development of long-term strategic forecasts, scenario analysis as well as forward planning and modelling.Key accountabilities of the role would include: Short-term and long-term forecasting and financial modelling to provide the organisation with robust forecast and scenario planning capability.Supporting SCCQ with strategic growth plans through long-term strategic forecasts for the current portfolio and future opportunities.Assisting the CFO with due diligence tasks and preparation of business cases for Board and Committees.Understanding preliminary assessments of investment opportunities in terms of investment gates, IRR, NPV and ROI.Undertaking full financial analysis of strategic projects including discounted cash flow analysis Undertaking post implementation review of strategic projects Contributing to the development and implementation of short and long-term investment and funding strategies to maintain the ongoing financial sustainability of SCCQ.Identifying opportunities to improve business performance and service delivery.Supporting Business Analysts to ensure benchmarking analysis is regularly undertaken with key industry benchmarking surveys to assist with driving top quartile performance.Providing financial modelling support for operational initiatives and strategic decision-making.Providing analysis on potential impact of proposed changes to government policy and funding models to identify risks and opportunities.What you will bring to the role?Tertiary qualification in accounting, business or related field CA/CPA/CIMA qualification or equivalent 5+ years financial analysis and advanced modelling skills Experience in Aged Care, Retirement living, home and community care (desirable) Experience leveraging data-driven insights to optimise business performance and strategic decision-making Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail Ability to clearly communicate complex data, insights and recommendations to key stakeholders Experience in an organisation with a dispersed geographic service base Demonstrated understanding of business analytics tools and enterprise information management Demonstrated experience with the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products with a superior capability
